According to a report from 8NewsNow, the pictured 1972 Chevy Suburban Ambulance has become the first built-from-the-ground-up Las Vegas Raiders “fan” vehicle and is now roaming the city streets.

The Ambulance was the last of its kind produced for emergency medical services transportation use; a regulatory act law signed by then President Richard Nixon in 1973 discontinued the vehicle’s production.

However, this particular vehicle has been in service in Las Vegas for more than 45 years after it was purchased as new for emergency services in 1972. The ambulance first appeared in a major motion picture in the 1998 Johnny Depp film “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.”

It was then featured for 15 years in the long-running Las Vegas dinner show “Marriage Can Be Murder,” which began at The Egg & I Restaurant in 2000 and now resides at The D Casino downtown.
