EMT Accused of Lying About Attack Pleads Not Guilty

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The Metro Louisville EMT accused of lying about being attacked and stabbed while loading his ambulance in late May was back in court Monday.

Joshua Ware, 24, was arraigned before Judge Mitch Perry on one felony count each of tampering with physical evidence and fraudulent insurance acts over $300. He’s also accused of of falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor.

On May 28th, Ware that he had been attacked and stabbed by an unknown individual as he was loading his ambulance in the Middletown area. A grand jury indicted Ware last week after a police investigation.
