East of England Ambulance Service Paramedic Dies of COVID-19

A paramedic with East of England Ambulance Service died after contracting coronavirus, the BBC reported.

Neil Ruch died on Monday after being admitted to the hospital last month, where he was on a ventilator in the intensive care unit.

Ruch, who originally came from Switzerland, had worked with the East of England Ambulance Service since 2013.

He previously worked at London Ambulance Service from 2006 to 2013.
