Charges Possible after Ambulance Crash in VA

One person was taken to the hospital after a crash between and ambulance and car, according to a report.

WSET reports Wednesday’s crash happened in the 11900 block of Richmond Highway in Campbell County, near Lynchburg.

Virginia State Police said a passenger vehicle collided with the ambulance. The driver of the car was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

It was immediately clear what agency’s ambulance was involved in the crash. Virginia State Police could not be reached for comment.

Charges are possible at a later date. The crash remains under investigation.
