VAN WERT, OHIO — Braun Industries announced the delivery of two new Braun Super Chief Type I ambulances built on the Spartan Furion chassis platform to the Pattonville Fire Protection District in Bridgeton, MO, near St Louis County. The Pattonville department services 28 square miles of northwest St Louis County, employing nearly 70 crew members operating from three engine houses. Beginning service in 1981, the department has seen continuous growth while providing service to the busiest highway interchange in the state of Missouri at I-70 and I-270.
Pattonville’s Assistant Chief Matt LaVanchy worked closely with the factory during the design phase to develop a customized ambulance module that would match their department’s needs today and over the upcoming years. “During today’s economic times, it is important to spend your dollars wisely. We purchased the Braun ambulances because of the long service life and the high safety standards. It makes sense to buy an ambulance that will last twice as long and operate with low maintenance costs. The chassis is designed for the Fire service and has been adapted to perform well for the EMS departments, pair that with a Braun module and you have a real winner.”
Braun Industries focus on customer service and manufacturing high quality safe ambulances is helping to build new customer relationships with departments across the nation. “We are excited to have established a new relationship with Pattonville during the build and delivery of the two new Super Chief units on the Furion RT platform. Continuous growth into new market shares utilizing this platform has introduced us to the St Louis area. The Super Chief Furion bridges the Fire and EMS service departments with a reliable, safe ambulance designed for an extended service life” states Chad Brown, Executive Sales Manager.
