AMR Grilled Over Tennessee Response Times

MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com)–When there is an emergency, seconds count. That is why Shelby County Commissioners want answers about what is being done to speed up ambulance response times. American Medical Response, the company that provides ambulance service in most of the suburbs and unincorporated parts of Shelby County, was recently fined $35,000 for slow response times. Wednesday, those in charge were put on the hot seat while county commissioners fired off questions.
