Ambulance Overturns after Colliding with Log Truck in Michigan

MANISTEE COUNTY, Mich. — A North Flight EMS ambulance overturned after crashing into a truck hauling logs Saturday afternoon, according to a report.

Police tell WPBN/WGTU it appears the truck was unable to stop in time as it approached an intersection and hit the ambulance.

The ambulance had a patient inside for a non-emergency transport. The patient was transferred to a difference ambulance to continue to the hospital. The medic driving the ambulance was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The truck driver was not hurt.
