Ambulance in Head-On Collision with SUV in PA

According to a report from LevittownNow, an SUV and a Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad ambulance collided head-on on New Falls Road between Apple Tree and Red Cedar Drives in Bristol Township at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning. There were no serious injuries.

Rescue squad chief Joel Rutkowski said the crew was taken to Jefferson Bucks Hospital for evaluation and then released. The ambulance will be sent to the manufacturer in New Jersey for appraisal.

Levittown Fire Company No. 2 officials said the SUV was traveling the wrong way on New Falls Road when the accident occurred, and the SUV’s driver was not seriously injured.

Bristol Township police are investigating the crash, which happened just minutes into the start of National Emergency Medical Services Week, which honors the frontline workers who provide emergency medical services.
