Alberta Paramedic Dies In Crash

MCLENNAN, Alta. – An EMS worker has been killed in a highway crash involving an ambulance and a truck near McLennan, Alta.

RCMP said a trailer hauling empty propane tanks became unhitched and slammed into an ambulance coming from the other direction on Highway 2.

The paramedic who was driving the ambulance died at the scene.

Another EMS staff member, a patient and a family member in the ambulance were taken to hospital in stable condition.
