A five-alarm fire that tore through an ambulance depot in New York is not considered suspicious, News 12 Long Island reported.
The Nassau Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire started in one ambulance and spread to others.
Four emergency responders were injured, two Freeport firefighters, and a Northwell medic. A third firefighter was treated at the scene for a minor facial injury.
All four were treated for smoke inhalation and later released from the hospital.
Oxygen cylinders and acetylene tanks helped fueled the fire, officials said.
