Four Killed, Two Injured in CA Car Crash

Dec. 15—A fatal crash Sunday morning on Lander Avenue south of Turlock is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP says the head-on crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Lander between West Simmons Road and Greenway Avenue. It says the roadway was cleared and opened by about 2:10 p.m.

Four people, including a local teacher, were killed in the crash along with two adults and a teenager. Two other teenagers suffered major injuries.
