The City of Flint and its Fire Department are celebrating the early success of their newly relaunched ambulance service, which resumed operations on October 1, 2024, after being dormant for over 20 years.
The city purchased three new ambulances to launch the service. In three months, the service has responded to over 1,100 calls within Flint, ABC 12 reports. Flint’s EMS service also provides mutual aid to nearby counties.
