REACH Air Medical Adds Brian Karr as CFO

SANTA ROSA, Calif. — REACH Air Medical Services LLC announces the hiring of D. Brian Karr as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Karr will direct all finance, treasury, funding and accounting functions to assure the success of current and future business strategies for REACH.

Prior to joining REACH, Karr served as CFO of Magellan Health Services of Arizona, a wholly”owned subsidiary of Magellan Health Services, Inc. He was the founding finance director for The TriZetto Group, Inc., an information technology solutions company that enables payers and other constituents in the healthcare supply chain to improve the coordination of benefits and care for healthcare consumers. At TriZetto, Karr assisted the company in achieving an initial public offering within two years of founding and was instrumental in assisting in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in building the software”asservice business model for the hosting division. Today TriZetto’s technology solutions touch nearly half the U.S. insured population.

Karr’s other experience includes senior accounting and finance roles at FHP/PacifiCare and TakeCare. He earned the CPA designation while working as a senior auditor at Ernst & Young. Karr earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Biola University. He and his wife, Kristen, have three children.

REACH Air Medical Services LLC, headquartered in Santa Rosa, California, supports operations throughout, California as well as in Corvallis, Oregon and San Antonio, Texas.
