Procession Held for NM Flight Medic Who Died from COVID-19

A procession was held Sunday honoring a San Juan County (NM) flight medic who died from coronavirus.

Glovis Foster was a flight medic for the county for more than 20 years and previously served in the military, KOB-TV reported.

“San Juan Regional Medical Center shares in the heartbreak of our community after learning that one of our own has passed from COVID-19,” the hospital wrote on Facebook. “Glovis Foster worked as a paramedic in San Juan County for over 25 years, helping save the lives of countless patients.”

First responders honored Foster with a procession from Albuquerque to Farmington.

Friends said Foster had a contagious smile and personality.
