TOOELE, Utah (AP) – One man is dead and three others are injured after a rollover crash on Interstate 80 in Tooele County.
Utah Highway Patrol officials say a vehicle hauling a trailer drifted off to the left side of the road near Delle about 4 a.m. Monday, then overcorrected and lost control.
Authorities say the vehicle and trailer rolled several times and ejected two brothers.
The Deseret News reports the 30-year-old driver was taken to the hospital by air ambulance. His 22-year-old brother was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the driver’s girlfriend and the couple’s 2-year-old son were wearing seatbelts in the back seat and were taken to the hospital with injuries that don’t appear to be life-threatening.
Eastbound lanes on I-80 were closed for several hours after the crash.
