Fatal Collision between Transit Buses in New Jersey

NEWARK, NJ (MyFoxPhilly) – Firefighters are attempting to rescue passengers aboard two NJ Transit buses that have collided on Broad St. and Raymond Blvd. in Newark, NJ. One person has died, seven others have been injured.

One of the buses is on its side.

At least five people are being treated at the scene.

The crash occurred at about 6:20 a.m.

The number of passengers aboard the buses is unclear.

Broad St. is closed between Market St. and Rector St. in both ways.

Raymond Blvd. is closed between Warren St. and McCarter Highway
