EMS Week 2016 is May 15—21

EMS Week 2016 is here, and JEMS is looking forward to seeing and sharing all of the ceremonies and celebrations hosted by our professional colleagues and loyal readers.

The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) host EMS Week each year as part of the EMS STRONG campaign to honor and observe EMS services, fire departments, rescue squads, volunteer groups and emergency departments across the country.

This year’s theme is “Called to Care,” reflecting the goal of recognizing and inspiring EMS personnel to strengthen the profession on a national level.

Check back to JEMS.com all week long for photos and stories from EMS Week events across the country.

Have a photo, press release or just a funny story you’d like to share with us? Submit it through our content form here: http://www.jems.com/submit-content-form.html. We’ll be compiling all of your submissions to share them with the JEMS readers.
