EMS Treats Burn Victims in Kenyan Tanker Explosion

KERICHO, Kenya According to the Associated Press, 13 people were flown to Nairobi, Kenya on, Wednesday, June 17, to be treated for injuries sustained in a Tuesday tanker explosion in Kericho , eastern Kenya. Forty seven people were injured and one person died from injuries sustained in the petrol tanker explosion in Kericho.

Reports state the victims had been siphoning fuel from the tanker when it burst into flames.

A similar tanker explosion killed more than 100 people in February in Kenya.
