Bullitt County (KY) Paramedic Injured in Crash Needs Support

The family of a Kentucky paramedic severely hurt in a crash is asking for support.

The family posted to Bullitt County EMS’ Facebook page they are in need of cash and gift cards to cover expenses and other needs as the paramedic remains in the ICU.

Last week’s crash between the Bullitt County ambulance and a tractor-trailer forced the paramedic to be thrown from the back of the ambulance. The paramedic, who hasn’t been named, was treating a teenage patient in the back of the ambulance.

Donations will be accepted at the administration building at 238 Salt Well Road in Shepherdsville through June 30, WHAS reported. A GoFundMe page has also been set up.
