A spokesman for University of North Carolina (UNC) Health said that its medical center in Chapel Hill has had at least 12 new positive test for coronavirus in its staff. The employees are now in isolation and will have to be cleared before returning to work, as reported by CBS17.
The spokesman said that UNC Health said it is “aggressively” testing employees who present symptoms and are tracking people they have contacted if they test positive.
Out of its 13,000 employees, UNC Health said hundreds have been tested.
