Active Shooter Opens Fire at Fort Hood


FORT HOOD, Texas (WFAA) – Fort Hood confirmed an “active shooter” on post late Wednesday afternoon.

A senior U.S. defense official said one person was dead and 14 others were wounded in the attack. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to discuss the information publicly.

Fort Hood said “injuries are reported” and that emergency crews are on the scene.
