VT EMS Chief on Leave after Allegedly Responding to Call Impaired

Vermont Emergency Medical Services Chief Bambi Dame was placed on leave after being accused of showing up to a call for service while impaired, according to reports.

Dame was not acting in her capacity as the state’s EMS leaders at the time, officials said. Dame was working as a paramedic with Fairfax Rescue.

Dame did not work with patients or drive the ambulance to the hospital, according to the report.
