The 2017 Pinnacle Leadership Awards and Lifetime Achievement Award were peresented on Tuesday evening during the 2017 Pinnacle EMS Leadership Conference in Boca Raton, Fla.
The Leadership Award was presented to two deserving EMS leaders, Doug Hooten of MedStar Ambulance and Brenda Staffan of REMSA, for their outstanding leadership in the development, implementation and ongoing financial sustainability of community paramedicine programs. Their highly successful programs have become a model for other systems worldwide.
Both Doug and Brenda are past EMS10 Innovator of the Year Award recipients.

The 2017 Pinnacle Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to EMS legend Robert Garner. Bob led Randle Eastern Ambulance in Miami and went on to serve as a regional director for AMR.
