EMS Chief Resigns Amid Medstar Controversy

ESTERO, Fla. — NBC2 has confirmed EMS Chief Kim Dickerson has resigned one week after she was placed on administrative leave amid the MEDSTAR meltdown.

Dickerson’s resignation was announced in an email to EMS employees. It comes on the heels of a County Manager report which states top EMS administrators knew about personnel problems within MEDSTAR which were never relayed to county administration.
