Banner University Medical Center Emergency Room Reopens After Flooding

PHOENIX (AZ) – The Banner University Medical Center’s emergency room has reopened after flooding from a burst pipe forced it to close on Friday, as reported and shown by AZFamily.com.

Employees were photographed and videoed wading in one- and two-inch deep water inside the hospital, which is located at 12th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix.

Although the emergency room was closed over the weekend, the trauma center remained open while crews cleaned up the flooding.  The hospital said its team spent the entire weekend getting the emergency department up and running.
