Participants Sought for Study on EMS Care for Children

Oregon Health and Science University, in partnership with the National Association of EMS Physicians, the National Association of State EMS Officials, the EMSC National Resource Center, EMS Medical Directors Consortium (Eagles) and the American Academy of Pediatrics Subcommittee on EMS, is beginning a National Institutes of Health-funded research study of the safety and quality of prehospital EMS care for children. Expert opinions are being sought from EMTs, physicians, medical directors, program managers and directors.

Participants will help identify key issues that may lead to changes in national guidelines and standards of care in children’s EMS. To participate in this study, e-mail STORC@ohsu.edu.
