MedicAlert Foundation, NAEMSE Partner to Offer Free CE

MedicAlert Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency medical information and identification services, has partnered with the National Association of Emergency Medical Service Educators (NAEMSE) to offer a free CECBEMS-approved emergency medical information services training program to EMS educators.

The program, approved for one hour of continuing education (CE) credit, highlights the benefits of accessing medical information and identification services on behalf of patients. The course teaches providers how to retrieve patient information, which can facilitate prehospital care and improve patient outcome.

The course is available as a classroom presentation and can be requested through the MedicAlert Foundation’s professional education department by e-mailing profedu@medicalert.org.
