James Augustine, MD, FACEP, chairs the National Clinical Governance Board, US Acute Care Solutions. Jim is a boarded, practicing emergency physician (a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine), and a fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Augustine serves as Medical Director for North Collier Fire District, Naples, FL, Washington Twp. Fire Dept in Dayton Ohio, South Fulton Fire Rescue in Atlanta GA.

Dr. Augustine also serves on the JEMS Editorial Board and is a recipient of the Street Medicine Society’s prestigious John Pryor Award for Exceptional Contribution to Prehospital Emergency Medical Services.
