Spanish for Emergency Medical Services was written with the intention of providing EMS professionals with a comprehensive guide that teaches the necessary vocabulary for effectively communicating with Spanish-speaking patients.

While author Breanne Blot was completing her undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of Colorado Boulder and working as an EMT in Denver, Colorado, she found many EMS providers struggled to communicate with their Spanish-speaking patients due to the inherent language barrier.

To bridge that gap, she wrote Spanish for Emergency Medical Services, which has helped hundreds of healthcare providers since its publication in October of 2020. Spanish for Emergency Medical Services is available for purchase on Amazon for $14.99 in paperback and $9.99 for eBook.
