Vincent Romano, BSc (Hons), MSc

Vincent Romano, BSc (Hons), MSc, joined the ambulance service in 2000, spending the first year working on the patient transport service in Cumbria, U.K. Following this, he spent 12 months seconded to their communication department, leading the implementation of the first satellite navigation systems on frontline ambulances. He then worked as an Institute of Healthcare Development ambulance technician before passing his paramedic course. A further secondment followed as a clinical practice trainer until finally gaining his current role as an advanced paramedic in the Morecambe Bay Sector.
