Stephen J. Rahm, NRP
Stephen J. Rahm is a paramedic, educator, and author. He became an EMT in 1985 and a paramedic in 1988. During his career, he worked in a U.S. Air Force trauma center and trained combat medics for the U.S. Army. He remains active as a paramedic with Bulverde-Spring Branch EMS, a rural EMS system in south central Texas. Stephen has been teaching EMTs and paramedics since 1990, and is currently a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. As an author, Stephen has 14 EMS-related textbooks and online educational products published to his credit; he has served as a content reviewer, co-author, and contributor for numerous others.
