Sherri Kovach, MS, BSN, RN, EMT, is the [resident of the Central Ohio Trauma System (COTS) in Columbus, Ohio. Her 36-year nursing experience encompasses pediatric NICU, PICU, and emergency department clinical care, trauma educator and prehospital coordinator, as well as adult and pediatric surface and air medical transport. Her role with COTS is to oversee the facilitation of best practice regional collaboratives which aims to improve the health and safety of the communities COTS serves.
