Shawn Soler

Shawn Soler has been a first responder for the past 30 years. He has served as a paramedic as well as a detective in the NYPD. He is qualified as a rescue specialist as well as a medical specialist for FEMA. Shawn recently retired from the NYPD where he was assigned to the Emergency Service Unit. He was a tactical paramedic assigned to the Apprehension Team within ESU for his last 10 years of service. He founded Medicine in Bad Places in 2006. Shawn has deployed all over the country to help others develop programs that can save lives in today’s every changing world. Shawn is a nationally certified NAEMT instructor who also holds several instructor certifications.
