Sanjaya Karki, NBBS, European official double masters in health and welfare, MD (Emergency medicine), diploma in aviation medicine, is an emergency physician and head in the department of emergency medicine/prehospital care at Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu. He's considered a pioneer in establishing hospital-based helicopter EMS in Nepal. He was awarded the David Weil Extreme Medicine Award in 2014 and was named one of the EMS 10: Innovators of the Year in 2016.
