Ryan Sless is a final year medical student at University College Cork. He came to Ireland to study medicine after completing a B.ScH in Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada and an MSc. in cardiovascular exercise physiology at the University of Toronto. Since starting medical school he has taken a sincere interest in simulation training for acute medical scenarios, competing in the all-Ireland National SimWars competition in 2018 and subsequently assisting as co-coordinator for the competition in 2019. He is also actively involved in simulation research with a keen interest in the applicability of simulation research to the field of internal medicine.
