Robert M. Nappe grew up in a public service household. With a teaching degree in hand, he served 30 years as a police officer. He became a paramedic in 1981. He also did a tour in Iraq in 2004 and 2005. He currently works for Yale New Haven Health in the Center or Emergency Medical Services and Nelson Ambulance. He is currently in graduate school for mental health counseling.
