Ralph J. Frascone, MD, FACEP, FAEMS, is a professor of emergency medicine at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He's board-certified in emergency medicine and EMS. His research interests revolve around resuscitation, including CPR, airway management and vascular access. He's the medical director of 28 agencies, including the St. Paul Fire Department and Life Link III, which operates nine helicopters in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
