Kevin Barry-Murphy hails from County Cork, Ireland, studying Graduate Entry Medicine at University College Cork. He has a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and graduated in 2016 before entering into medical school. In his spare time — albeit limited — he enjoys playing sport, particularly hurling, a native Irish sport, and music, with a keen interest in traditional Irish music. Having a particular interest in Emergency Medicine, Kevin participated as part of UCC’s SimWars team in 2018 having won the internal competition and going on to compete at a national level thereafter. He completed an elective with London’s Air Ambulance in 2019 and hope’s to one day complete a fellowship with the service.
