John Sammons is a paramedic and field training officer for Wake County (NC) EMS. He has been in EMS since 1999, where he started as an EMT in Cape May County, NJ. With Wake County since 2012, he has served as a field training officer, a lead paramedic and recruit academy instructor, relief district chief, and relief advanced practice paramedic. He is also a participant in the NAEMT Lighthouse Leadership program, and creator of the Patient Centered Paramedic blog.
