Dr. Sweeney is the program director for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She is responsible for collaborating with local EMS agencies to support an effective and efficient trauma system, supporting the educational needs of EMS providers, and is an active member of the EMS Advisory Council for the region.
