has 41 years of experience in EMS, from first aid, EMT, paramedic, to emergency physician. In January 2009, he became the worldwide clinical medical director for Vidacare Corporation, which manufactures the EZ-IO. He's an EMS medical director/EMS specialist in the Denver Metropolitan Area, and is currently the EMS medical director for Summit County Ambulance Service in Frisco, Colo. and a JEMS Editorial Board member.
