James "Jamie" Chebra, EMT-P, CEM, MS, DHAc, is a member of the JEMS International Editorial Board representing Poland. He's currently the Director for JFK EMS for JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. He's been involved in EMS for more than 20 years, moving upward from the rank of volunteer EMT to paramedic to director. He's held positions on the operational, educational, supervisory, clinical and administrative sides of care delivery.
