Henry P. Cortacans, MAS, CEM, NREMT-P, serves as the state planner assigned to the Urban Areas Securities Initiative of the N.J. EMS Task Force. He has been involved in EMS and emergency management for more than 20 years. He holds a master's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University specializing in terrorism/securities studies and emergency management administration. He is also a certified emergency manager through the International Association of Emergency Managers.
