George W. Contreras, DrPH(c), MEP, MPH, MS, CEM, EMTP

George W. Contreras, DrPH(c), MEP, MPH, MS, CEM, EMTP, is an assistant professor at the Institute of Public Health, and assistant director of the Center for Disaster Medicine at New York Medical College. He is adjunct associate professor at John Jay College and adjunct professor at Metropolitan College of New York. He still works as a paramedic in 911 NYC EMS. He has been working and teaching in EMS, healthcare, public health, and emergency management for almost thirty years.
