Erik Antonsen, MD, PhD, FAAEM, FACEP

Erik Antonsen, MD, PhD, FAAEM, FACEP, holds a PhD in aerospace engineering and trained in emergency medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He currently works as an attending physician and assistant professor of emergency medicine and space medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He was the field medical director for the StratEx high altitude jump program and a support physician for the Red Bull Stratos project. He’s the element scientist for exploration medical capabilities at NASA Johnson Space Center.
