Elizabeth L. Angeli, PhD, is an associate professor of technical communication in the Department of English at Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI. She is the author of the award-winning book "Rhetorical Work in Emergency Medical Services: Communicating in the Unpredictable Workplace," the first full-length study of EMS providers’ writing processes and practices.
