Diane L. Atkins, MD

Diane L. Atkins, MD, is a professor of pediatrics in the Stead Family of Pediatrics at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She’s conducted research on cardiac arrest in children and defibrillation in children and has been actively involved in the AHA Pediatric Subcommittee as well as acted as chair of the Science Committee. She recently served on the Institute of Medicine Panel which published the report “Strategies to Improve Cardiac Arrest Survival: A time to act” in June 2015.
