David Lowe has been the executive manager of operations with the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS), Townsville, LASN ,for the last seven years. Prior to this, he had nine years of operational experience with QAS as a paramedic, officer in charge and senior operations supervisor; and 12 years with St. John Ambulance in New Zealand as a paramedic, station manager and regional staff officer prior to immigrating to Australia. David commenced with St. John Ambulance as a cadet in 1982, prior to becoming a career paramedic. He is dedicated to advancement of the paramedicine and EMS field and programs that support paramedics welfare.
