David Turner, NREMT-P, IC, is an EMS educator at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, N.M., and a member of the EMS Safety Foundation. His 19 years of EMS experience includes rural and urban EMS as a fire/EMS lieutenant, paramedic and a field supervisor.
