David Hennelly, MSc, AP, is the clinical development manager for the National Ambulance Service in Ireland. An advance paramedic with over 20 years’ experience in prehospital care, his current role focuses on the development and research of improved clinical pathways in resuscitation, STEMI, stroke and major trauma care and future innovations in prehospital patient care. David also manages the clinical governance and clinical leadership within the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services in Ireland. He is currently also studying for his PhD in University College Cork.
